With the high lake levels and flooded trail, we’ve cancelled this workday. Enjoy your time off!

We’ll go north from Highland Park and clean up more of the flood debris next to the trail.

When – Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 9am

What to bring – gloves, boots, long sleeves. We’ll provide the trash bags!

And the weather still isn’t cooperating – too windy and too cold for being out in the open at Brockdale, so we’re cancelling.

The weather hasn’t cooperated for our rides this year, so let’s try it again for our last TTPA ride this year. We’ll have a short members meeting, get updates on the trail activities, gather nominations for Board positions, have a lunch/dessert, and rideout. Bring a friend or two, and come prepared to renew your membership for 2016!

Where – Brockdale Trailhead
What to bring – chair, bag lunch, and a potluck dessert, plus a horse if you want to ride afterwards

After the spring rains lifted the lake level to record heights, the following drought lowered the lake back down to normal levels. But while the lake was flooded, all sorts of debris and trash were washed up and left at the high water mark, and are now littering the trail and the woods and fields next to the trail.

TTPA will celebrate National Public Lands Day by cleaning up trash on and next to the trail that was left by the lake flooding this past spring. If you bring the energy and willingness, we’ll supply the trash bags and dumpster to haul it all away!
