Where – Snider Lane (west of Highland Park trailhead), park on Natha Ct.
What to bring – Loppers, long sleeves, water, and bug spray

We’ll go south on the trail and continue trimming back cedar branches that are encroaching on the trail.

We’ll meet at East Fork and head north to tackle trail cleanup and intrusive branch removal. Hopefully, we’ll get as far as Collin Park.

Join your TTPA friends for food, fellowship, and a day out with your ponies to kick off 2017!

Meal served at Noon. Meeting and Rideout after.
Chili, Dutch Oven cornbread, and desserts will be provided. You may bring a side dish if you’d like. Donations accepted to offset the cost of the food.

The forecast just looks too darned cold!! We may have a weekday workday instead, keep an eye on this site.

We’ll meet at the East Fork Campground (not the trailhead) and weed-whack and mow the equine camping area.

When – 10am, Thursday, Dec 15, 2016
Where – East Fork Campground, Wylie. Tell the campground gate guard you are there with TTPA to work on the equine camping spots. Follow the camp roads to the left to get to the equine area.
What to bring – Weed-whackers, loppers, gloves and water.

Afterwards, some of us may go to Collin Park to mow and weed-whack along the fence line by their entrance gate.

The ride is a go, hope we see you there!

We’ll be trying something a little different this time, a pot-luck breakfast and members meeting before the ride. Weather permitting, so check this site or FaceBook for last minute status.

When – Saturday, Nov 19, 2016 – 9am pot-luck breakfast and members meeting, 10am rideout

What to bring – Coggins for the horse(s), breakfast goodies, comfy folding chair and likely a warm jacket.

We’ll paint the new picnic table at the White Rock Creek crossing, and then head south, trimming back the encroaching cedar branches.

When – 9am, Saturday, Nov 5, 2016
Where – We’ll park at the intersection of Natha Ct and Snider Lane (just west of where Snider Lane crosses White Rock Creek) and use the gate there to access the trail.
What to bring – Water, gloves, long sleeves, loppers. We’ll supply the paint and brushes.

We’ll be joining the Lucas Founders Day parade for our October ride. So break out the costumes for you and your horse and join us! The town will be serving food after the parade at the Town Hall pavilion.

When – Saturday, Oct 22, 2016 – Parade starts at noon, you should arrive before 10am, since you’ll have to check-in with the parade desk and get your costume(s) on.
Where – Lucas Town Hall – Horse trailer parking will be across the street at the Lucas Vet Hospital (we’ll have someone on hand to direct the parking)
What to bring – A COSTUME! and your Coggins. Hamburgers and hotdogs served afterwards at the Town Hall pavilion.
